ЪDLO will support the «All-Ukrainian winter extreme tourist competition on the Paths of Heroes «Dobrovolets-2018», which will be held in Volyn on February 24-25, 2018 for the eighth time. The organizer is the public organization «All-Ukrainian Youth Movement «National Alliance».
«Dobrovolets» - non-commercial tourism competitions, which are held to honor the heroic deed of all fighters for the independence of the Ukrainian state, to honor the memory of the fallen fighters of the 35th Self-Defense Force of the Maidan "Volyn Sich", to promote a healthy lifestyle and sports among young people, and to improve the skills of travelers.
The competition is held taking into account the "Rules for conducting adventure races in Ukraine". Both professional tourists and beginners, who geographically represent most regions of Ukraine, take part in the competitions. Team races (2-5 people). The number of teams increases every year, in 2017 about 200 participants were registered. In 24 hours, teams must overcome one of the proposed routes of different difficulty levels - 20, 40 or 80 km. The competition is held at the expense of participants' entrance fees and sponsorship.
