ĪDLO was founded in 2016 with the aim of producing natural, tasty and convenient tourist food. At the beginning of its activity, infrared drying technology was chosen for the production of dishes. The company was the first in Ukraine to start packaging dried dishes in doy-pack type packages, thanks to which you can steam and eat the dish directly from the package without using additional dishes. A patent was obtained for this method of packaging and steaming.
During 2017, OMNOM natural energy bars appeared in the product line, which immediately became a hit. They organically complemented the range of ĪDLO dishes. Thanks to effective product development, marketing and developed distribution, ІDLO has actually formed the tourist food category in Ukraine.
Already at the beginning of 2018, ІDLO introduced a new specially designed modern retort package, which had significantly better protective functions. This, together with the use of oxygen absorbers, allowed to increase the shelf life of ІDLO dishes to 2 years, which further strengthened its leadership in the Ukrainian tourist food market. New dishes were added to the assortment, as well as a new category of exclusive accessories: bag, spice dispenser, paw.
2019 became a truly innovative year for the company - moving to a new large premises, increasing the capacity of its own production by 4 times, installing a new semi-automatic packaging line. But the main thing is that ЪDLO was the first among Ukrainian manufacturers of tourist food to introduce sublimation on its own equipment - a more advanced process of removing moisture from the product. The assortment includes both 100% sublimated dishes (omelette with vegetables and herbs, holiday kutya), and combined dishes containing sublimated and dried components (borscht with beef and beans, shrimp soup, Moroccan couscous with beef).
Despite all the troubles in the country and the world, leap year 2020 did not give a chance to slow down. The production facility introduced an ISO 22000 / NAASR food safety control system. A modern b2b platform was integrated for convenient work with dealers. ЪDLO products were selected as those that best meet the strict requirements of Ukrainian polar explorers. So ИДLO not only reached Antarctica, but also reliably supports Ukrainians at the Akademik Vernadsky Antarctic Station. The company launched an ecological program “Leave No Trace” to exchange 10 used tourist food packages for 1 new one, which was joined by more than 400 people who handed over more than 7,500 used packages.
